Taster Wrap Ring Workshops – Create a Silver Ring in Just a Couple of Hours

Perfect for dipping your toe into jewellery making, or enjoying a creative session without giving up a whole day. They’re also a great choice if you prefer shorter, focused sessions over longer workshops.

In this hands-on session, you’ll use pre-cut sterling silver strips (no sawing or soldering needed) to create a personalised wrap-around ring with your own textures or stamped details. There’s copper available to practise on too, so you can build confidence before working in silver.

Workshops are open to anyone aged 12+ with good hand dexterity. Whether you’re coming along with friends, attending with a teen, or just fancy a solo booking, sessions can be arranged for individuals or small groups (up to 4 people) in my Forest of Dean studio.

Pricing:

Weekday bookings:
• One-to-one – £75
• Two to four participants – £55 per person

Weekend bookings:
• One-to-one – £85
• Two to four participants – £65 per person

Materials to make one finished ring in sterling silver are included, with copper provided for practice.

It’s a welcoming, relaxed introduction to silversmithing - great for school holiday activities with your children, that “I’m bored” teenage phase or simply a fun, creative catch-up with your best friend.
