September 2025 - JEWELLERY SHOP & WORKSHOP BOOKING
livepages::jquery();?>Cutlery Jewellery Workshops
These sessions are all about turning vintage cutlery into bold, wearable jewellery - with plenty of hands-on action and fun creative upcycling.
We’ll be using tools you might find in a well-stocked agarage or home workshop - things like a belt sander, metal guillotine, pillar drill, metal benders and pliers. Nothing overly technical or delicate, just sturdy bits of kit to help cut, shape and smooth metal with satisfyingly quick results. No prior experience needed - just a willingness to get stuck in and a sense of curiosity.
You’re welcome to bring your own cutlery or choose from my stash on the day (cash or card accepted). Prices range from £5 for plain pieces to around £30 for fancier, decorative finds.
Not all spoons are created equal. Here’s a quick guide:
✔ Good Options
• Silver-plated or Electro Plated Nickel Silver (marked EPNS)
• Nickel silver (marked NS or Alpacca)
• Smaller pieces like teaspoons, coffee spoons, or salt spoons (smaller = easier to manipulate)
✘ Best Avoided
• Newer stainless steel or pewter
• Ladles, serving spoons, or anything over 2mm thick
• Spoons with welded or heavily repaired handles
Each session lasts around two hours, with a relaxed pace and a maximum group size of four. You’re welcome to book solo or with friends - just scroll down and choose a date that suits you best.
