Project: Trio of Stacking Rings with Metal Dot Details
Date: Sunday 19th April 2026
Time: 10am until 1pm

Come and make your own trio of sterling silver stacking rings, finished with small metal dot details, in this relaxed, hands-on workshop designed especially for beginners.

You’ll work with fresh sterling silver wire to form three individual ring bands, learning traditional silversmithing techniques including measuring, forming, soldering, texturing, and finishing. Once your rings are shaped and sized, you’ll create and add small decorative dots, choosing from sterling silver, copper, or brass to personalise your set.

The project is carefully designed to fit the session, allowing time to learn the techniques properly and finish a coordinated set of rings that are made to be worn together or individually.

This workshop is fully guided and beginner-friendly, with clear steps, plenty of demonstrations, and time to ask questions as you go. You’ll leave with a finished trio of stacking rings, made entirely by you and sized to fit.

Photos shown give an example of the style and scale of rings you’ll be making. Dot size, placement, and metal choice can vary, making each set unique.

What’s included:

• Approx. 3 hours of tuition in my Forest of Dean studio
• All tools and materials to make three sterling silver ring bands
• Sterling silver, copper, or brass for dot details
• Copper for practice and testing techniques
• Bottled water and biscuits

You’re welcome to bring your own refreshments if you wish — just please ensure any drink containers can be closed.

Group sizes are kept small (maximum of 4 people), so you’ll have plenty of support throughout the session.

If anything goes wrong on the day, extra silver can be purchased at cost price if needed.
