24th October 2026 (Saturday) - Sterling silver - STAMPED BAND RING workshop 10am-1pm

Project: Personalised Stamped Band Ring
Date: Saturday 24th October 2026
Time: 10am until 1pm

Come and make your own personalised stamped sterling silver ring band in this relaxed, hands-on workshop, designed especially for beginners.

You’ll work with fresh sterling silver sheet and learn traditional silversmithing techniques including measuring, cutting, shaping, soldering, stamping, and finishing. Using steel letter and design punches, you’ll personalise your ring with names, initials, dates, or simple patterns.

The project is carefully designed to fit the session, allowing time to learn the techniques properly and finish a solid silver ring that’s made to be worn and enjoyed.

This workshop is fully guided and beginner-friendly, with clear steps, plenty of demonstrations, and time to ask questions as you go. You’ll leave with a finished sterling silver ring, made entirely by you and sized to fit.

What’s included:

• Approx. 3 hours of tuition in my Forest of Dean studio
• All tools and materials to make one sterling silver stamped ring band
• Copper for practice and testing letter and design punches
• Bottled water and biscuits

You’re welcome to bring your own refreshments if you wish - just please ensure any drink containers can be closed.

Group sizes are kept small (maximum of 4 people), so you’ll have plenty of support throughout the session.

Pricing (per person): Please see the drop-down menu.
If anything goes wrong on the day, extra silver can be purchased at cost price if needed.

If you’d like to book this as a private 1-to-1 session, simply select the relevant option from the drop-down menu.
Once booked, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Around 10 days before your workshop, I’ll send a reminder email with useful details such as what to wear, what to bring, and directions to the studio.
