Join me for a workshop of hands-on learning and creativity as we explore the awesome world of silversmithing!

Saturday 10th August 10am until 3pm

Drybook, Gloucestershire.

In this relaxed and intimate 5-hour workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to craft your own personalised band ring while having fun and learning new skills.

This workshop is perfect for complete beginners, so don't worry about any prior experience. With a maximum of three participants per session, you'll receive plenty of personal attention and guidance. This small group setting ensures a comfortable and supportive environment, making it easier to ask questions and get the help you need.

Here's what you'll experience:

• Ring Sizing: Learn how to determine your ring size.

• Tool Discovery: Get acquainted with various jeweller’s tools and understand their uses.

• Hands-On Techniques: Dive into shaping, hammering or stamping, and then filing and polishing your chosen design to perfection.

We will take a break half way through the session for a biscuit and a brew! You are more than welcome to bring your own sandwich or packed lunch if you prefer.

Come and explore your creative side in a fun, friendly, and supportive setting. By the end of the day, you'll leave with a beautiful piece of jewellery made by you, and a newfound appreciation for the art of silversmithing!

Workshop notes: 

• Open to beginners - no experience needed.

• No open-toe shoes / sandals allowed in the workshop. 

• Aprons available on the day - but advised not to wear your best bib 'n' tucker as it can get dusty!

• What do you need to bring? Nothing but a smile and glasses if you need them!

• Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.

•  Please note that my workshop is located on the first floor and is not wheelchair accessible.

• Free parking on site.
