Creative School Holiday Activities for Children & Families

As a mum, I’m always on the lookout for ways to get my kids away from screens and into something creative. Whether it’s my dog-crazy daughter dreaming up personalised pet tags or my tool-thirsty son getting hands-on, I’ve seen how much pride they take in making something with their own hands.

That’s exactly what inspired me to create my Kids’ Metal Stamping & Badge Making Workshops — a creative outlet where children aged 6 to 14 can try something new, have fun, and leave with something they’ve made themselves.

Running during school holidays throughout the year, these workshops are the perfect way to entertain, engage, and inspire young minds.

What Makes My Kids' Workshops Different?

These workshops aren’t just about making something—they’re about creating a fun, relaxed experience where creativity can shine.

  • Designed with kids in mind: Inspired by my own children's creativity, I offer projects that are fun, achievable, and rewarding.

  • Safe and accessible: No sharp blades, soldering, flames, or electrical tools are involved. Everything is tailored to younger participants, while advanced techniques are reserved for my sterling silver workshops.

  • Take home a memory: Every child leaves with their own finished piece—either jewellery, a keyring, a name tag, or badges.

  • Small group sizes: I keep my workshops small to allow extra guidance where needed and to create a calm, supportive environment.

What Can You Make?

Children can choose from a range of creative options, depending on their workshop session:

  • Stamped aluminium jewellery (rings, pendants, cuff bracelets)

  • Keyrings and pet name tags

  • Fun and colourful badges designed by them

I aim to inspire young minds and help every child discover the joy of creating something unique.

Why Aluminium?

Using aluminium makes the process accessible and stress-free. It’s cost-effective, easy to work with, lightweight, and perfect for first-timers. There’s less pressure, more creativity, and the satisfaction of leaving with a completed piece by the end of the session.
