Join me for a workshop of hands-on learning and creativity as we explore the awesome world of silversmithing!

Thursday 21st November 2024, 10am until 3pm

Drybrook, Gloucestershire.

In this relaxed and intimate 5-hour workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to craft your own personalised cut-out pendant while having fun and learning new skills.

This workshop is perfect for complete beginners, so don't worry about any prior experience. With a maximum of three participants per session, you'll receive plenty of personal attention and guidance. This small group setting ensures a comfortable and supportive environment, making it easier to ask questions and get the help you need.

Here's what you'll experience: 

• Design creation: You can opt to create your own design or you can use one of my design templates.

• Tool discovery: Get acquainted with various jeweller’s tools and understand their uses.

• Get hands on: Dive into sawing, hammering or stamping, and then filing and polishing your chosen design to perfection.

We will take a break half way through the session for a biscuit and a brew! You are more than welcome to bring your own sandwich or packed lunch if you prefer.

Come and explore your creative side in a fun, friendly, and supportive setting. By the end of the day, you'll leave with a unique pendant made by you, and a newfound appreciation for the art of silversmithing!

Workshop notes: 

• Open to beginners - no experience needed.
• No open-toe shoes / sandals allowed in the workshop. 
• Aprons available on the day - but advised not to wear your best bib 'n' tucker as it can get dusty!
• What do you need to bring? Nothing but a smile and glasses if you need them!
• Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.
• Please note that my workshop is located on the first floor and is not wheelchair accessible.
• Free parking on site.
